  Alinta Energy is an energy retailer and generator that has sold natural gas to Western Australian homes for around 30 years, and it also offers electricity and gas plans in eastern states.

  • WA Fair Go plans take a set percentage off gas usage charges for a year
  • No exit or early termination fees on its WA Fair Go gas plans
  • Bill smoothing with fortnightly or monthly direct debit payments
  • Bills can be paid by direct debit, phone or the online portal

  Good to know

  • WA Fair Go discounts apply only in the Perth metropolitan (Coastal) gas region
  • The Alinta Energy app is not yet available to WA customers

  Origin Energy sells residential natural gas plans in selected areas, including Western Australia, and gas can be managed alongside Origin electricity, LPG and internet accounts.

  • No lock-in contracts or exit fees
  • $10 a month bundle discount when you add Origin internet to a gas or electricity plan
  • Natural gas accounts can be managed in the Origin app, including usage and bill payments
